Outrider

About

Who built this.

Outrider is built and run by one working musician - not a software company.

I'm Dave Barry. I've played keyboards in the New York ska scene since the mid-'80s and with The Toasters since 1989, plus stints in Second Step and Beat Brigade. (Not the humorist. I'm way funnier... but looks aren't everything.)

I also spent years as a designer and art director, working on projects for WWE and Marvel Comics. So I care a lot about how things look and how they work, and I have strong opinions about apps that get either wrong.

After a lot of vans and load-ins, I knew exactly what show day needs: when load-in is, what the set looks like, who's on the guest list, what the house needs to know. Most of it used to live in text threads, a folder of PDFs, and someone's memory of where the stage plot went. Outrider is the tool I wanted on those nights.

I'm a musician and designer, not a software company. I built Outrider with AI tools and tested it against real shows and real runs. It's one person, and I answer the email myself.

It's free to start. I'd rather hear what's wrong with it than what's right: help@outriderapp.com.

Try it on your next show.

Free to start. Shows, runs, and tours - stage plots, day sheets, setlists, guest lists, and riders, all in one place.
