What actually needs to be on a stage plot
A stage plot only has to answer one question fast: where does everything go, and what does it need? At minimum, that means:
- Every input - each amp, drum mic, vocal mic, and DI, positioned where it actually sits on stage.
- Monitor positions - how many wedges, and who's getting what mix, or where the in-ear packs go.
- Power and cable runs - anything the house crew needs to know before they start pulling cable.
- Upstage/audience orientation - so nobody sets up your stage plot mirrored.
